Imaginary Bitches creator Andrew Miller is over the moon this morning. Eden Riegel's real life hubby took home the Best Writing Award at the 4th Annual Independent Television Festival.

"This award is so amazing. And I'm especially honored given the incredible amount of talent at this year's ITV Festival," says Miller. "Hopefully the recognition will finally shut Catherine up and prove that she and Heather DID NOT improvise every good line in the script like she keeps saying."

The 4th Annual Independent Television Festival, which brought together independent television producers and web TV creators alike, continued last night with their awards ceremony honoring those creative minds who are taking us into the future. The event took place at Laemmle’s Sunset 5 in West Hollywood.
IMAGINARY BITCHES' Andrew Miller won for Best Writing. Miller created this inventive comedy starring Eden Riegel about a single woman who deals with the lonely reality that all her friends are busy with serious relationships by creating imaginary friends—who unfortunately turn out to be total bitches.

Imaginary Bitches episodes to be shown at The Independent Television Festival

Episode 1: It Not Easy Making New Imaginary Friends.
Episode 4: A New Leper in the Colony.
Episode 11: Only Crazy Girls Quife.

There will be a Q&A with creator Andrew Miller, Eden and some of the cast following the screenings of episodes 1, 4 & 11 on Monday, August 3 starting at 2pm. On Thursday August 6, Andrew and Eden will be back to introduce the show as the episodes will screen again at 4pm.

ITVFest Announces Imaginary Bitches as one of its nine Web Series Selections

The 4th annual Independent Television Festival selections have been announced and you can catch Imaginary Bitches on the big screen August 3 and 6, 2009 at 4pm.

The Independent Television Festival is a festival for independently produced, original and innovative television pilots and web series. The festival takes place in Los Angeles from July 31st to August 6th.
